Mesothelioma is a form of cancer that is caused by exposure to asbestos. Many people who develop mesothelioma have worked on jobs where they inhaled asbestos particles or have been exposed to asbestos dust and fibers. For example, an auto mechanic who worked for many years installing brakes and clutches, and developed mesothelioma, would have a claim against the manufacturers, suppliers and sellers of brakes and clutches containing asbestos.
